Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) rebar is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant alternative to traditional steel reinforcement. It is made from continuous glass fibers embedded in a polymer resin matrix.

GFRP rebar is 1/4 the weight of steel but offers 2x the tensile strength. Most importantly, it is completely immune to rust and chloride-induced corrosion, significantly extending the lifespan of concrete structures.

It is ideal for environments exposed to water, de-icing salts, or corrosive chemicals. Common applications include seawalls, bridge decks, wastewater treatment plants, and MRIs (since GFRP is non-magnetic).

No, GFRP rebar cannot be bent on-site. Any bends or complex shapes must be manufactured and cured at our facility according to your specific engineering drawings.

While the initial material cost may be slightly higher or on par with epoxy-coated steel, GFRP drastically reduces transportation costs, labor costs (due to light weight), and eliminates long-term maintenance and repair costs associated with corrosion.
